Double Leg Takedown Drill – Safe Entry & Powerful Control
What you’ll learn:
How to teach your child to perform a double leg takedown, block incoming strikes, and finish in the dominant mount position.
Key Concepts Covered:
- Blocking “punches” with proper defensive arm positioning (using pool noodles for safe simulation).
- Level changing via squats to avoid strikes and enter safely.
- Executing the takedown and transitioning to high mount for control.

Mount Drill – Mastering Balance in the Top Position
